[FREE APP] [iOS] Uber - Book Taxi / Personal Driver - Get $10 FREE

Today FREE APP is Uber.

In case you haven't heard about Uber, Uber is an app that helps you find a taxi or personal driver to get you from where you are now to your destination.

The app works just like/similar to any taxi booking app, first set where to pick you up, then set your destination and then submit it. Any driver that picks your signal will then respond and confirmed to get you.

Just like a normal taxi, and indeed Uber is now widely used by taxi driver as well.

What's great is Uber has these promotions, which are:
  1. When share Uber with friends, both your friends and you will get $10. Just in case you haven't register yet, you can do me a favor by clicking on this invitation link https://www.uber.com/invite/uberyouandmeget10. Both you and me will be credited by $10.
  2. In Singapore - perhaps in other country as well, they have 25% discount promotion, where Uber will only charged you 75% of your ride. For example: if you book Uber and ride it for $10, then Uber will charge you $7.5.
When it comes to payment once your trip is over, it's also hassle free. You don't need to pay in cash. The driver will only key-in the fare amount into his Uber driver app, then you confirmed the fare he keyed in and submit. The fare will be debited from your Uber account.
If you need more than just a taxi, Uber has another options which is (depends on your country):
  • UberX - personal car, so it should be cheaper than taxi,
  • Black - private on demand driver,
  • SUV - similar to UberX but the car is SUV for larger space,
  • LUX - if you need something luxury.
Current version 2.46 requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with the following iOS devices:
  • iPhone 3GS and up
  • iPod Touch 4th Gen and up
  • iPad 2 and up
  • iPad Mini and up

  1. Because he wrote a shit ton of words that could have been summed up in one or two paragraphs.Ironic that a person who doesn't want to be talked to doesn't know how to keep his writing concise.
