WifiMapper is the app that will show you all the free WiFi hotspots all around the world.
Either you are having limited 3G/4G data/internet subscription or you are traveling quite often to other areas or countries or you have tablet that only have WiFi connection or any other reasons that makes you need a free WiFi connection, this is a must have app for you.
Not only you can find free WiFi, you can also contribute to the community by confirming that the WiFi you are currently using is free (if it's existing free WiFi) or if you find a new place with free WiFi that haven't been flagged as free previously, you can contribute by telling that the WiFi you just found is free.
You need to log in in order to contribute telling whether the WiFi connection is free or not. And currently, WifiMapper only supports Facebook account, with email account login is in the works at the time this article is written.
This app is totally free. No in-app purchases at all.
Current version 1.0.2 requires iOS 7.1 or later. Compatible with the following iOS devices:
