What is this game about?
Cubed Rally Redline is an endless racing game with 8 bit like graphics, simple gameplay yet fun and entertaining, although I find it a bit hard to be addicted to this game. But you have to give it a try and see for yourself.

Gameplay & Objective
Select one of the cubed car. First time playing, you'll be given the blue standard car.

There are 5 lanes that you can drive on: 2 grass lanes on each sides and 3 land lanes.
Objectives of the game is to survive as long as you can, avoid any obstacles (cows, rocks) while completing the mission objective given, collecting coins, power ups, gasoline and get highest score.

Gasoline is needed for your car to run, so make sure to collect the gasoline before the gas runs out.
Coins is needed for upgrading your car to a better ride. Better ride = better performance = better handling = more coins = more scores.
Power ups is needed to boost your car, such as the blue-squarish item to enable drifting to your car.

The Control 
Control for this game is simple. Swipe left and right to change to between lanes. No accelerator nor brake pedal you can tap on, accelerating is automatic in the game while the game doesn't have brake mechanism - so stay away from obstacles.

The Verdict
Cubed Rally Redline with its 8-bit environment and rather like cubed car and cows (the cows are indeed in cube shaped) is fun and entertaining endless racing game to play. Altough it's not 100% correct to say racing game, since you are not racing against anything at all - but to survive.
Anyway, if you are from the 8-bit era, the game can bring back memories. If you are not, you can still enjoy the cubed cows moving around your race track.

[FREE iPHONE GAME] Slayin - Endless Action RPG [App of the Week]

Today FREE GAME is Slayin.

Claimed to be the world first endless action RPG - Slayin is a new genre - I should say - mixing endless type of game, with action and RPG and 8-bit graphics.

3 menus on main menu: Start, Tavern, and Graveyard.

First menu: Start - to start the game, you'll have to choose one between 6 heroes: knight, wizard, knave, archer, tamer and ninja. If you are playing for the first time, you can only choose knight.
All you need to do is to eliminate as many enemies and bosses as you can before you die and collect anything from coins to elixir.

Control is also dead simple, 2-directional button: left or right, jump button and pause button.
When you press left, the hero will go all the way to the left until you press right button to change direction and vice versa.
You don't need to press button to attack, as the hero is always pointing the sword towards the enemies.

You can jump to avoid ground obstacles or to kill flying enemies.
In the middle of game, you can also find old man standing on the corner of the stage, approach him to refill your health as well to buy even more powerful swords, armors or spells.
Each stages you pass, the difficulties will be harder then before. You will meet with more powerful enemies and bosses.

Survive as long as you can, because once you are dead, it's over. You'll have to start over again.
Once you are dead, you will have a graveyard with your name and high score written on it.

Second menu: Tavern - to buy upgrades, unlock characters and other accessories.

Third menu: Graveyard - basically a place where you can see your highscore and compare it with the rest of your friends' highscore.

If you like to try something new, try this game. Even though I myself feel a bit frustrated when playing this game, because keep dying at the same place for multiple times, but this game is still fun and addictive to play and effective to kill time.

This game offers in-app purchases to buy fame points that you can use to buy equipments and accessories.

Another game with looks and genre similar to Flappy Bird and Crossy Road. Splish Splash Pong with its 8-bit squarish cartoon looks, has simple objective: score as many as you can.

The gameplay is a bit different from the 2 similar games I mentioned though. If you ever play pong before, then yes the gameplay is totally like pong, the only difference is, instead of ball that you hit to the left and to the right, now you are controlling a duck from (acting as the ball), hit it to the upper and bottom line while avoiding obstacles.

Each successful hitting the upper or bottom line will score you 1 point. Game will be over if you hit any obstacles in between the lines.

So, look easy isn't it? Wait until you give it a try then you know how hard and addictive the game is.

Tower Slash is another endless-run type of game, however with a different and unique gameplay that will make you get addicted to it.

Play as, I believe, Ninja in a 8-bit world, you are always running from the bottom of tower climbing towards the endless tower.

What makes this game unique is, while running, you need to eliminate any obstacles in front of you or should I say, above you.

To eliminate them, you need to follow the arrow.
If it's a green arrow, then you need to slide your finger as what the arrow pointing. If arrow showing up, the slide up your finger.

The tricky part, there are two other type of arrow, yellow and red.
Yellow arrow keeps spinning until you are quite close to the enemy then it turned green. In this case, you need to act really fast, if not then you will hit them and fail.
Red arrow is showing the opposite. If red arrow shows up, then you need to slide down, and vice versa.

Looks easy, right?
Wait until those 3 colorful arrow combine together in a quite fast pace game then you'll know.
Only the fastest finger (and fastest brain) will win!
