When Apple first introduced AirDrop on iOS 7, iPhone 4 and iPad 2 even though they are compatible with iOS 7, Apple decided to remove away AirDrop feature from iPhone 4 and iPad 2. So that means iPhone 4 or before and iPad 2 can't use the AirDrop feature. Only newer devices such as iPhone 4S and above or iPad 3rd gen and above can use this easy transfer file feature.

Now with Instashare, device like iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad 2 are able to do transfer files between devices just like AirDrop.

Even better compared to AirDrop, Instashare is compatible with, not only Mac, but also Windows PC and Android devices.
You can transfer from iPhone/iPad to Windows PC and vice versa.
You can also transfer from iPhone/iPad to Android smartphone/tablet and vice versa.

If you are using iOS 8 on newer devices such as iPhone 4S and above or iPad 3rd gen and above, you even don't need to open the app to transfer or received files.
To transfer file or photos using iOS 8, you just need to open the menu and Instashare link will be there.

This app offers in-app purchase to remove ads.
